I’m left teary-eyed at that letter – so eloquent, thank you for sharing. Political differences are not as strong as patriotism, and it’s nice to hear, remember and cherish a positive message about our country. I join you in thanking your father, my grandfather (also a WWII army vet) and all the veterans out there.

Thank you for sharing what you know of your fathers story. I just wish we had some way to reach each other and have a dialog while not being so devisive.
