See, there’s a rule. The rule is that you must cast on the second sock immediately after finishing the first one. “Immediately”. Just sayin’.

i love all those socks! i am not actually much of a sock knitter myself so i force myself to only have one pair on the go at any one time….only thing is i started this current pain in june. ugghh

All of your socks are so lovely! I’ve finally tried socks on two circs and I love it. I don’t understand why anyone would keep on with dpns, but I know that variety is the spice of life and all that… Anyway, when you knit two socks on two circs, do you need longer circs? Curious.

If knitting 2 socks on 2 circs (or on the magic loop method) doesn’t work for you try just knitting them seperately, but at the same time. I always do this, putting one down after a certain point and catching the other one up, thereby knitting them as similarly as possible, since I haven’t forgotten exactly what I did on the 1st sock, which was always happening to me when I used to do one at a time. I know it costs more in needles but it’s well worth it. Now, whenever I purchase sock needles I just buy 2 sets.
