I hate when what you see in your head isn’t what comes out of the needles – even with repeated knitting! so frustrating. maybe letting it marinate for a bit and working on something else will help….

I’m a big believer in letting ideas marinate. Of course, you don’t know if something won’t work until you TRY it, so kudos to you for spending those three days. Be happy it didn’t turn into three months (or longer) with a shawl you’ll never wear! Socks are always a safe bet.

Not every idea is a winner right away. You’ll get there. Retreating into a sock is a great palate cleanser. I saw Kate and Pam’s sock, but Cassie’s was new to me. Oy, the choices!
