So yeah, two weeks in a row for Moyen Age.
I only wanted to work on this throughout the week so I made some good progress. I just have a half a repeat left before I get to the waist shaping.
So far it’s been smooth sailing. The only mod I’ve done is to change the needle sizes. The designer knits very – VERY – loosely so I had to go up a size or two to get gauge.
I have no idea if this is going to last, but I’ll ride it out while I can.
I’ll let you into a little (not-so) secret. I’m considering attempting to make 2 sweaters for Rhinebeck. I’ve been doing my typical daydreaming – looking at patterns, yarns and colors. I’m planning to hold off for another week to see if it still holds. If it does, I think I’m going to do it.
I know it’s crazy but like I said – I need to ride it out while it lasts.
I’ll catch you on the purl side.
Gosh, that is some beautiful knitting, Jody! Enjoy the ride. I think you need to go for the two sweaters for Rhinebeck, be wild and go for it.
Oh, that sweater is looking stunning! I had no idea Moyen Age was knit in fingering weight. Beautiful. Madtosh never disappoints.
Oooh this pattern and yarn are gorgeous together!! I guess you can never go wrong with Mad Tosh though 😉
The color on this is stunning!
I like the new and improved website, too. Very nice!
