Knitting in the (topless and doorless) Jeep — that gray streak you see on the right side is the road zipping by. Paul took the doors off the Jeep this weekend and we took a ride down the shore* (LBI and Cape May). I got to knit. I got a bit of a tan. I wore my new camo mini skirt. I drank a few mojitos. And I had a plate of my favorite fries (bacon, melted cheddar, and ranch…yum!)
What a great little break from the work-craziness.
I’ll be back as soon as I can!
* That’s Jersey-speak for “to the beach”
Just wandering how you’re getting on with Saffy. You haven’t mentioned her recently. It’s on my list of things to do. But not to put too finer point on it, I’m quite busty and I’m a bit concern as to whether it will look OK.
Take care you
Bev xx
A topless, doorless jeep! Sounds fun. The sock looks great.
Sounds like a great weekend–glad you had fun!
And yes, why IS New Jersey the only state that uses that “down the shore” phrase, anyway? I’ve never understood it, and actually rarely ever use it, either. The grammar nazi in me just won’t let me…. (grin)
sounds much better than my weekend of camping out on the couch sick! i love jeeps without doors. so fun!
So glad you got a little R&R after all the craziness at work. That Jeep definitely sounds like fun!
Oh, I have to catch up – you made a lot of progress on the socks 😉
Have fun at the shore, and love the pic!
How brave, knitting with the road whipping by so close!
I see. So you just disappear like that, huh? Fun! 😀
Jody living on the edge, literally.
omg dont drop your stuff, i am so paranoid for you!
I used to have a friend with a jeep that always took the doors and top off – makes for a nice (but windy) summer drive!
Oh my… that pic just creeps me out!!! Just about as bad as being on a motor bike LOL.
Give me a car with a roof and sides any day
Cheers Eva
Damn, now I want some of those fries! However, I will be more than happy with the fried green tomatoes TGF is whipping up while I type this.
