Knitscene Accessories 2012
Wow I love this issue! Fun, interesting projects and it comes in a digital version. No extra shelf space required!
This came out just at the right time with my new-found declaration of accessory love.
Here are my top faves at the moment:

  • Reservoir Mitts – I’ve been wanting to make a pair of entrelac mitts. Allyson Dykhuizen (the designer) did it better than I ever would have with clever details and fun construction. I WILL be making these.
  • Wellington Mitts – This may be that colorwork project I’ve been seeking. Plus each mitt uses a different stitch pattern. No second sock mitt syndrome.
  • Doe River Mittens – Just-enough bobbles and twisted stitches create a feminine mitten with a bit of tailored elegance.

  1. I like this issue too, but you left out the “God’s eye mitts”, they are awesome too. I think I’ll have to get the digital version.

  2. I’ve loved every preview I’ve seen for this magazine and was unaware (or subliminally ignored) that it was available in digital format. Until you so kindly and clearly pointed it out front & center and so now it is mine… ALL MINE!! 😉

  3. Gads, I’m here and I can’t get out.
I keep clicking on one of your links to another, and another, and – – – I can’t get out.
My blog post today talks about this mag. I can’t believe how many tabs these pages have.
Though they weren’t mentioned I do love the colorwork of the mitts on the cover.
Gonna take a look at more here on your blog
    hugs
