Wow you guys really loved the bags! I got mine at the Loopy Ewe. Great color selection and fast shipping. Plus I added in some needles to get to free shipping. Check out the new fabrics – crocodile and fur. Fun!
Confession time – I’ve hit that point in my projects where I need to just push through. This is the flip side of cast on mania. I’m still staying strong but I won’t lie – it’s tough
Several new-to-me books and designs have popped up and they’re KILLING ME.
Knit Red: Stitching for Women’s Heart Health – a collection of patterns dedicated to women’s heart health. A fabulous group of designers including Norah Gaughan, Jared Flood and Ysolda Teague (check them out on Ravelry ). Gorgeous designs and it’s a great buy. All that red is so enticing! 30 designs for 13 bucks, and 5% of the proceeds are donated as well.
The Sock Report – 16 designs for sock weight yarn. Shawls, scarves, a garment and of course – socks. I especially love the Tulip Dreams Shawl (pictured on the right).
The Dorothy Shawl – a 2-color, sock weight shawl from the Knit Picks site. Download the pattern for $3.99 or buy the kit for $18.99. I could see doing one in more similar colors – maybe a purple and red combo, or out of my color comfort zone and doing a vivid blue and chartreuse.
And a quick knitting update. I only have 10 rows left on my Sweet Dreams Shawl so you should see an FO in the next few weeks.
Happy Knitting!

Do I see a RED theme goin’ on here?
The Knit Red collection is wonderful, I need to see if that’s an ebook.
I fell in love with the shawl on the KP cover.

I am sure it is beyond tough to finish projects with all these patterns tempting you. I am thinking of investing in some horseblinders.
I have been drooling over the sock report as well. I just know if I buy it now, nothing on my needles will get done. There is way too much to love there.
I can’t wait to see your Sweet Dreams Shawl!!!!!
Good grief the cabled cardi is fabulous. Hmm something to add to my list too Stay strong!
It’s so hard to resist, isn’t it? There are so many tempting new patterns to cast on … I just wish I had more hands and hours in the day to knit with!
